GCSE Results Day 2024: Celebrating Our Students' Achievements

Congratulations to all our pupils who received their GCSE and Level 2 Vocational and Technical Qualification (VTQ) results today!

At Stanground Academy, we are thrilled to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students. This year’s results are a testament to the perseverance, talent, and commitment of our young people, who have every reason to be proud of themselves. We are also excited to welcome many of you back in September as you continue your journey with us, advancing to Level 3 courses in our Sixth Form.

A Year of Hard Work and Dedication

Our students' achievements this year are truly remarkable. The effort they put into their studies was outstanding, with over 200 hours dedicated to Saturday school and holiday sessions, boasting attendance rates in the 90s. Our pupils have shown exceptional dedication in their lessons, embodying the values of ASPIRE.

We would also like to extend our deepest thanks to our teachers, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in guiding our students to success.

Success Stories

Here are just a few of the outstanding achievements from our students:

  • Oskar achieved 10 GCSE qualifications, with six of them at the highest grade 9.
  • Marieta received 10 GCSE qualifications, with three at grade 9, four at grade 7, and the remainder above grade 5.
  • Thomas successfully achieved 10 GCSE qualifications, with three at grade 9, four at grade 8, and the remainder above grade 5.
  • Faith earned nine GCSE qualifications, with one at grade 9, five at grade 8, and the remainder above grade 5.
  • Rafael received 10 GCSE qualifications, with four at grade 9, and an additional qualification in his home language, Portuguese.
  • Jakub achieved 10 GCSE qualifications, with two at the highest grade, four at grade 8, and the remainder above grade 4.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on these achievements, we also look forward to the bright futures ahead for all our pupils. Whether continuing with us at Stanground Academy or embarking on new adventures, we are immensely proud of each and every one of you. Your hard work, resilience, and determination have laid a strong foundation for your future success.
