Mental Health Awareness Day 2023
Join Us for Mental Health Awareness Day - 10 October 2023
Date: Tuesday 10 October 2023
We're excited to let you know about Mental Health Awareness Day coming up on Tuesday 10 October 2023. This day is all about shedding light on mental health issues and striving for positive changes that benefit everyone's well-being.
Our mental health is just as important as our physical health, and this day is a chance for us to have open conversations about it. It's an opportunity to talk about the importance of taking care of our mental health and seeking help if we're facing difficulties.
Student-Created Posters for Awareness
To mark Mental Health Awareness Day, students from all year groups have come together to create posters. These posters will be displayed in our form rooms and throughout the academy, serving as a visual reminder of our commitment to supporting mental health and creating a supportive environment for everyone.
'Hear Me, Help Me' - Support When You Need It
Remember, you don't have to go through mental health challenges alone. If you find yourself affected by this process or just need someone to talk to about your mental health or a friend's, our 'Hear Me, Help Me' initiative is here for you. It's a confidential support system that's ready to provide assistance and a listening ear.
Drop-in Sessions with Mrs. Kazimierow
During the week of October 9th to 13th, Mrs. Kazimierow will be hosting drop-in sessions in room A28 during breaks and lunches. These sessions provide a safe and welcoming space for anyone who wants to discuss their thoughts, feelings, or concerns related to mental health. If you prefer to talk before or after school, Mrs. Kazimierow's door is open to you.
You're Not Alone in Your Mental Health Journey
Always remember that you're not alone when it comes to mental health. It's a journey we all share as a caring community. Mental Health Awareness Day is an opportunity for us to start important conversations, raise awareness, and support one another.
Thank you for being a part of our commitment to Mental Health Awareness Day on 10 October 2023. Together, we can make a positive impact on our mental health and the well-being of our entire community.
